William W. Smith Jr., CFA, Managing Director, Business Development and Relationship Management, joined DuPont Capital in 2014 and is responsible for overseeing all of the firm’s sales and marketing efforts.  He is also responsible for direct marketing and sales to institutional plans and investment consultants. Prior to joining DuPont Capital, Mr. Smith spent the past 17 years at Vanguard in Malvern, PA.  While at Vanguard he held several positions including Sales Executive, Nonprofit Sales; Senior Analyst/Manager in the Portfolio Review Department; and Relationship Manager, Institutional Asset Management. Mr. Smith began his career with Corestates Bank where he held several positions including Investment Officer.  He joined investment industry in 1991.

Mr. Smith received his MBA from Rutgers University, his BA in Economics from Lynchburg College, and is a CFA charterholder.
